MY NANA

my nanaplayed a huge part in my life making sure that along with my mum we were given the best upbringing any children could have asked for. I think thats why i have never wanted to grow up because i have such fantastic memories of the times i shared with my nana and mum.        My nanawas very energetic and trips out with nana meant i had to keep pace even though she was in her eighties at the time.                        One memory i have is being on holiday in scarborough, i wanted to go on the ghost train but i didnt want to go on alone so you've guesed it nana accompained me and we laughed all the way around . I enjoyed telling everyone about this because it was the first time i had ever been on a ghost train.            Later on in her life i enjoyed taking nana out and about in which if anybody talked to her she would have great delight in telling them her ageand she would soon get the reply that she looked well for her age which she took great pleasure.                                              Another memory is we would have chocolate eating competitions to see whose chunk would last the longest, nana always won of course.                      My nana was and still is my world her warmth and love lit up the room .she was and is so so precious.                      She taught me alot and without that i would not be who iam today. My nana loved to dance. She made us all laugh these memories will stay in our hearts forever, nana we love you so so much                           you can dance again nana                    all my love and lots of love your grandaughter lindsey xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx                      xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx                      xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
